Managing Director job in Barbados
Kingsdale Advisors is seeking a seasoned finance professional with management experience to come onboard as its Managing Director.
Kingsdale Advisors is hiring an experienced Managing Director for its Barbados office.
Although the company is based in Canada, this position will be based out of Barbados, making it perfect for a settled professional.
According to Kingsdale, the ideal candidate “is a strategic leader who oversees all people, operations, finance and administration functions…to drive organizational success”.
This high-ranking position will be responsible for overseeing multiple aspects of the company’s operations, including “Proxy Solicitation, Strategic & Defense Advisory, Shareholder Identification, Governance Advisory and Voting Analytics”.
The “core mandate” of the person successfully hired as Managing Director would be “to oversee the execution of research, analytics, advisory services and communications on client files”.
Kingsdale noted, “Types of client engagements include shareholder services for Canadian & US public company Annual Shareholder Meetings, Plan of Arrangements, Tender Offers, Contested Meetings and Asset Reclamation.”
Further, candidates are expected to hold a BA in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. An MBA or law degree would also be considered an asset.
Applicants with more than five years of managerial experience and more than three years of experience in the finance field are preferred.

Analyst job in Barbados
The Analyst position is more entry-level.
Meanwhile, Kingsdale Advisors is also seeking to hire a financial analyst who can help them provide research, analytics, advisory services and communications on client files.
Similarly to the Managing Director, the successful Kingsdale Advisors Analyst is expected to engage in “shareholder services for Canadian & US public company Annual Shareholder Meetings, Plan of Arrangements, Tender Offers, Contested Meetings and Asset Reclamation”.
However, this is a much more entry-level position as only a college degree is required for candidates to apply.
Experience or formal education related to the financial services industry is preferred, however.
