With a persistent drive to promote digital transformation while satisfying a need for more substantial talent acquisition services within the region, we've pursued our mission to support formal employment and sustainable business growth.
Now, as we celebrate another successful year of operation, CEO Joseph Boll says the organization is excited about the way forward.
“Since our launch in 2020, we’ve done some amazing work in the Caribbean,” he says. “We’ve helped dozens of people find their dream job and dozens of businesses find the best talent to fit their needs.
“It’s only going to get better from here.”
How we’re helping jobseekers find Caribbean jobs
Over the last three years, some 107,000 Caribbean jobseekers have used our website to apply for jobs in their quest for gainful employment.
Jobseekers are able to create a profile, search for jobs and apply for any that piques their interest completely free on Caribbean Employment Services Inc.
They can also take advantage of our free notification service, where we will send them an email of the latest job opportunities based on any search criteria they choose.
This helps jobseekers be the first to know when a new job open to Caribbean workers becomes available, and better helps them apply right away to increase their chances of being hired.
Thirty-six thousand people are currently taking advantage of this, receiving custom job alert emails from Caribbean Employment Services Inc. every single day.
How we’re helping businesses find Caribbean talent
We’ve partnered with more than 150 diverse, high-quality employers based in various Caribbean countries, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Our partners have included notable, well-known employers like Sandals Resorts, Playa Hotels & Resorts, Barbados Today, Caribbean Airlines, the UK’s NHS Professionals International, and others.
But we’ve also partnered with small and medium-sized businesses, recognizing that SMSEs collectively account for the largest share of formal employment in the Caribbean region.
Some 60,783 unique job listings have been posted on our online jobs board, accounting for large employers and MSMEs alike.
“We want to fill a need for seamless, reliable and digital talent acquisition that is rare in the Caribbean, giving all reputable employers a chance and not just focusing on notoriety,” says Boll.
A digital upgrade for Caribbean jobs
This digital upgrade is long overdue in many Caribbean countries, where the process of job hunting, recruiting and hiring is still often archaic and inefficient, frustrating jobseekers.
Through Caribbean Employment Services Inc., Boll hopes to bring recruitment in the region into the 21st Century, showing businesses how much they can save time, money and human capital, as well as access a wider talent pool, by taking the process online.
To this end, and in celebration of our progress over the last three years, we are extending a current promotion that lets employers post a free job ad and also access all of the accompanying services that come with it.
“We’ve come a long way and helped so many since our launch, and we’re excited to continue that growth in the years to come,” Boll says.
